Police nab main alleged in sculptor’s murder case

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested an absconding alleged murderer one year after the incident.

According to SSP Deepak Thapa, the chief of Metropolitan Police’s Crime Division, Man Kumar Thing alias Kumar, the main alleged in Hari Khadka’s murder that took place in August 2019, has been nabbed from Makawanpurgadhi.

Police investigation has found that Khadka, who hails from Katari, Udayapur along with seven persons had killed  Khadka in collaboration with the latter’s wife Bishnu Khadka in August, 2019.

The alleged had been working as an sculptor along with Hari Khadka and had extra marital affairs with Khadka’s wife.

The police have already arrested five persons including Khadka’s wife, Deepak Bamjan, Aarush Thing, Sagar Waiba as alleged in the same case.

Three more alleged murderers are still absconding. The police have been trying to establish their whereabouts.
