NCP top leaders including Dahal at Baluwatar to meet Oli

KATHMANDU: Top-notch leaders including Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal have flocked to Baluwatar to meet with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Chairman Dahal, senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal, Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam and Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha have reached Baluwatar, said NCP sources.

Talking to Khabarhub, Spokesperson Shrestha said they have gone to Baluwatar to pile pressure on Prime Minister Oli to call a Secretariat meeting.

It is learnt that top NCP leaders including Dahal had held talks at the NCP central party headquarters in Dhumbarahi before leaving for Baluwatar.

Earlier, an informal meeting held at Dhumbarahi on Friday had decided to urge Oli to call a Secretariat meeting of the party.

Dahal-Nepal faction is dissatisfied with Oli over the government’s recommendation of  ambassadors, cabinet reformation, no confidence motion against the chief minister of Karnali Pradesh and holding a meeting with the chief of Research and  Analysis Wing, (RAW), the foreign Intelligence Agency of India.
