24 fatalities take Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll to 984

KATHMANDU: A total of 24 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 984 as of Monday afternoon with the new deaths.

Similarly, a total of 2,933 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 176,500 with fresh cases as of Monday afternoon.

Altogether 13,446 sample tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.

A total of 3,150 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 137,992 in the country.

The recovery rate stands at 78.2 percent.

Nepal currently has 37,524 active cases.

Likewise, 2,119 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.

A total of 347 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 74 have been put on ventilator support.
