Man killed in Bhaktapur power tiller mishap



BHAKTAPUR:  A man died in a mini power tiller (hand tractor) accident in Suryabinayak municipality-8 of Bhaktapur district on Saturday.

The deceased is Krishna Ram Suwal, 50, of Suryabinayak municipality-8, Darjeeling Height, said District Police Office (DPO), Bhaktapur.

The accident took place after the hand tractor went out of control while operating it down the steep slope from the roadside, said DSP Dipak Giri, the information officer at Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur.

The tractor operator sustained critical injuries to his neck and other parts of his body after being crushed under the tiller tines.

Critically injured Suwal breathed his last in the course of treatment at Madhyapur Thimi Hospital, said DSP Giri.
