Province 2 COVID-19 case tally hikes by 59 on Friday

JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 has got 59 cases added to its province coronavirus case tally on Friday, making the total province case tally 15,562.

According to the Province Health Directorate of Province 2, Friday saw 11 females and 48 males added to the list of coronavirus cases here.

There have been 15 cases in Siraha, 13 in Dhanusha, 11 in Saptari, 8 in Parsa, 6 in Mahottari, 5 in Bara and 1 in Rautahat today.

Likewise, according to Bijaya Jha, the acting chief of the provincial health directorate, the province got 448 discharged after recovery on Friday. The province has discharged 14,146 coronavirus patients till date.

Fortunately, the province saw no coronavirus related death in the last 24 hours.

The province has seen 167 COVID-19 deaths till date.
