Four including three cops injured in clash with smugglers

BARA: Three policemen and a child have been injured in a clash between police and smugglers in Bara district.

Police had fired 12 rounds in the air in the clash that took place at around 7 pm on Wednesday.

SP Krishna Pangeni of Bara stated that Ranjan Yadav, 14, was injured in the incident. According to him, the boy is currently undergoing treatment at Vayodha Hospital.

Pangeni said that the clash took place after the police took control of six bags of potatoes and onions brought by the smugglers.

The injured policemen are undergoing treatment at Kalaiya Hospital.
