281 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 71 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 281 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 71 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 30 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, nine in Province 2, 178 in Bagmati Province, 13 in Gandaki Province, 42 in Lumbini Province, four in Karnali Province, and five in Sudurpaschim Province.

A total of seven in Province 1, two in Province 2, 53 in Bagmati, one in Gandaki Province, and eight in Lumbini Province are on the ventilator support.
