America records 231,036 deaths linked with COVID-19



KATHMANDU:  The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 8,961,774 in the United States of America after 68,913 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 2,908,141 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 5,822,597 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 231,036 with 520 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,164,227 and infected 43,769,527 globally until the filing of this news.
