KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist has died and a pillion rider has sustained critical injuries after being hit by a car at Nakhkhu of Lalitpur.
The deceased has been identified as biker Ilu Ghale, 28, of Siraha. He was currently staying at Thaksikhel of Lalitpur.
Pillion rider Sanjib Pariyar, 21, of Makwanpur, Hattisudhe, currently staying at Jawalakhel has sustained critical injuries in the accident.
He is undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital. Police have taken car, Ba 8 Cha 1581, and its driver under control.
