India’s COVID-19 cases cross 7.8 million mark



KATHMANDU: India recorded 54,028 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 7,813,668.

Currently, 682,107 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,013,569 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 117,000-mark.

With 683 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 117,992, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
