President Bhandari not to offer Dashain tika



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari will not offer Dashain tika this year owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

Three will be no Dashain tika program like in previous years, according to the President’s Office.

A statement issued by Assistant Spokesperson to the President’s Office, Keshav Prasad Ghimire, said that the program of visiting various temples and shrines on the occasion of Maha Ashtami and Kojagrat Purnima has also been postponed.
