With 72 fresh cases, COVID-19 case tally reaches 15,089 in Province 2



JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 has seen 72 fresh cases of coronavirus on Wednesday taking the case tally in the province to 15,089.

According to Dr. Kamalesh Yadav, a senior  doctor at the Province Health Directorate, the  province saw 19 cases in Siraha, 16 in Dhanusha, 13 in Parsa, eight each in Rautahat and Bara, five in Saptari and three in Sarlahi today.

He informed that 35 patients were discharged after recovery today taking the discharge case tally to 13,042 till October 21.

According to the province health directorate, a 54-year-old male frin Parsa has died today. With this, the COVID-19 death toll in the province has reached 163 till today.

Currently, there are 1,884 active coronavirus cases in the province.
