PSC postpones exams scheduled from Oct 16

KATHMANDU: Public Service Commission (PSC) has decided to postpone various exams scheduled to take place from October 16 onwards.

Despite its claim that delay in the execution of the long postponed exam could have multiple problems in bureaucratic system, PSC had issued a notice informing the candidates to be prepared for the postponed exam.

PSC’s decision to conduct the exam had been widely criticized by the public and the candidates as many of them are not in the condition of travelling to the exam center and attend it.

However, the commission that had turned deaf ears to the public request to postpone the exam has decided to postpone the exam when some of its offices had to be sealed after the staffs tested COVID-19 positive.

According to Gita Kumari Humagain, the Spokesperson of PSC, all the exams including civil service, security agency, and organized institutions are postponed till further notice.
