Man nabbed with gold worth 1.6 million



JANAKPURDHAM: Armed Police Force (APF) BOP at Janakpurdham has arrested a person in possession of gold worth 1.6 million rupees.

According to SP Narendra Sen, 34-year-old Ram Chandra Das has been nabbed with gold worth 1.6 million rupees from Janakpurdham-7, Bhramarpura chowk, Janakpurdham on Monday.

SP Sen  further  informed  a team of APF personnel deployed under the leadership of Inspector Shambhu Katuwal seized the gold along with the vehicle used to carry it.

Arrested Das, who is also the owner of the vehicle, is from Balawa-7, Mahottari.

Police sadi they are investigating into the case.
