RPP Chairman Thapa undergoing treatment at ICU in Om Hospital



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Kamal Thapa has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Om Hospital on Friday.

The hospital in a press statement on Saturday stated that leader Thapa who was diagnosed coronavirus positive on Thursday was admitted to the hospital with complaints of fever, headache and breathing difficulty.

Hospital’s Medical Director Senior Consultant Physician Dr. Bishwanath Koirala, Senior Consultant Pulmonologist Dr. Sagar Dhakal and Consultant Intensivist Dr. Pramesh Sundar Shrestha among others are attending to the leader.

According to the doctors, he no longer has fever and breathing difficulty.
