Two murder-accused land in CIB net after for 11 years



KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has nabbed two alleged  murderers of Dil Bahadur Yonjan after 11 years of incident.

According to DIG Sahakul Thapa of CIB, Yonjan, an inhabitant of Godavari, Lalitpur was assaulted with a spade by fellow workers Bhimsen Ghaga Magar and Ram Krishna Chuni Magar on May 12, 2009.

Seriously injured Yonjan had died on May 15 while undergoing treatment at Kathmandu-based Bir Hospital.

According to police, after the incident, both assailants had fled to Delhi, where Bhimsen bought a rickshaw and started pulling it, whereas Ram Krishna worked at a plastic company.

CIB managed to arrest the alleged duo in coordination with the Indian police.

According to CIB sources, the alleged have been sent to Metropolitan Police Circle Chapagaun for further action.
