Coronavirus cases cross 14,000-mark in Province 2

MAHOTTARI: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 14,000-mark in Province 2.

A total of 14,620 people have been infected with the pandemic in the provine so far, according to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 2.

Of the total infected, 12, 272 have recovered from the virus while 2,348 are currently undergoing treatment  at various hospitals and isolation centers, said Bijaya Kumar Jha, Acting  Director for the Health Directorate of the Province.

Until October 16, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the province were 14,620.

Similarly, 159 people have died from the virus in the province so far.
