Negative PCR report mandatory to enter Syangja



SYANGJA: Are you going to Syangja? You won’t be allowed to enter the district unless you have a PCR test report issued in the past 72 hours.

With the coronavirus taking a foothold in the district, of late, the district administration office (DAO) has made a negative PCR report mandatory for any individual before entering the district.

“The new arrangement has been made in order to save the denizens of Syangja district from COVID-19,” said Chief District Officer Umesh Basnet.

Those who do not have the reports of PCR have to stay in designated quarantine set up in the district, said CDO Basnet.

This decision has been taken in line with clauses 3 and 4 of Infectious Disease Act, 2020 and Local Administraion  Act, 2028.
