59 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Chitwan



KATHMANDU:  Fifty-nine additional people including a three-year-old minor boy have been infected with the coronavirus in Chitwan district.

The new cases were confirmed during tests at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital on Wednesday night.

According to Dr Nitu Adhikari, the chief of the COVID-19 laboratory of the hospital, out 281 swab samples tested at the lab, the reports of 59 came out to be positive.

Among those infected, 19 males and 11 females are from Bharatpur Metropolitan City, informed Dr Adhikari.
