Budhanilakantha Municipality Mayor Kharel recovers from COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Mayor of Budhanilkantha Municipality, Uddhav Prasad Kharel has become free of coronavirus infection.

Mayor Kharel had been staying in self home isolation after contracting the virus.

He said his was asymptomatic case and now he’s got rid of it. Kharel was included in contact tracing after his driver tested positive for coronavirus.

An RT PCR test conducted on the Mayor confirmed the infection in him too. He said he will return to his regular official works from today.
