197 more persons test positive for COVID-19 in Dharan

DHARAN: As many as 197 additional people have been infected with COVID-19  in Dharan.

According to a press note issued by BP Koirala Institure of Health Sciences, among those infected with the virus, 104 are from ANFA Academy quarantine based at Dharan-17 alone.

The new cases were confirmed during PCR tests at the laboratory of the hospital.  Of them,  three people re-tested positive for the virus.

With this, the number of coronavirus infection cases in Dharana has reached 1,379.
