TVS Apache crosses 4 million sales milestone



KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company has stated that its premium motorcycle brand Apache has crossed 4 million sales mark across domestic and international markets.

Launched in 2005, the TVS Apache series is the fastest-growing premium motorcycle brand with a strong presence across global markets.

On the occasion, the official distributor for Nepal Jagdamba Motors has unveiled a new variant of the Achape RTR 160 4V with ABS and Smart Connect feature.

The variant, the 160 4V, which was earlier sold only in single-disc and double-disc variants, will now be available in five different variants.

Announcing the new motorcycle, the company’s Vice President Deepak Kumar Agrawal said, “We have brought the motorcycle according to the customer’s desire and budget. These motorcycles will be available in the range of Rs 273,000 to 306,000. The company believes that this will help the customer choose the model according to their budget, needs, and features.”

The 160 4V has a 159.7 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve engine. Its engine produces 16.5 PS of power at 8000 rpm and 14.8 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm.

Motorcyclists will be able to connect to the motorcycle console through the app on their mobile.

As it uses LCD display, mobile calls and SMS activities can be viewed here.

The odometer on the console will have Trip 1 and Trip 2 meter modes available. It also has a time lap meter. This is a feature especially used on racing tracks.
