CAAN provides permission to Simrik Air to carry COVID-19 patients



KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Association of Nepal (CAAN) has provided permission to Simrik Air to carry COVID-19 patients.

Simrik Air now can carry coronavirus infected patients as per the requirements of Ministry of Health and Population, CAAN statement reads.

Simrik Air was founded in 2001.

Simrik Air offers customers a world-class flying experience, to ensuring their safe landing and giving its crew a safe work environment.

Over the years, with the addition of new aircraft, Simrik Air has grown stronger in high-altitude long-line search, rescue and recovery missions, sling operations, adventure flights, pilgrim flights, among other flights.

This airlines has carried out a number of successful high-altitude long-line rescue and recovery missions, external cargo sling operations for developmental projects, Gosaikunda and Pathivara holy flights, and successful Annapurna Base Camp and Everest Base Camp Sightseeing flights.
