Police arrest human trafficker



KATHMANDU: The Central Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau has arrested Tautau Tamang, 52, in allegation of trafficking a 20-year-old girl to Mumbai.

According to Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau sources, Tamang, an inhabitant of Melamchi-6, Sindhupalchowk had been involved in trafficking girls from the poverty-stricken families by promising them lucrative jobs in the towns.

Lately, he was arrested in allegation of selling a 20-year-old girl to Mumbai.

The Bureau team arrested him from Gokarneshwor, Kathmandu on Sunday.
