Complaint filed against 3 police officers in TU answer sheet destroy case



KATHMANDU: A complaint has been filed against three senior officials including Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu’s Chief SSP Shyam Lal Gyawali, SP Somendra Singh Rathore and DSP Devi Prasad Poudel for showing indifference in the TU’s answer sheet destroy case.

According to sources, Ashish Poudel, a student of Quantum Mechanics of MSc Chemistry, at Tribhuvan University, has filed an application before IGP Sailesh Thapa against the senior police officials of Kathmandu Metropolitan Range.

The applicant has held the police official responsible for provocation and protection against the crimes related to destroying answer sheets of students, slackness in the investigation and letting the proofs being destroyed.

The applicant has quoted SSP Gyawali of discouraging the applicant and protecting the crime by saying, “This is a minor incident, and the applicant will be tired of trying soon.”
