Coronavirus-infected NCP Whip Shanta Chaudhary shifted to ICU

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Whip Shanta Chaudhary, who is undergoing treatment for coronavirus at Bir Hospital, has been shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Chaudhary was shifted to the ICU after she complained of respiratory complications on Friday night, said her Secretariat.

“I feel difficult while breathing and speaking over the phone,” she had informed through a Facebook status three days ago.

She had tested positive for coronavirus with symptoms five days ago.  She had also suffered from breast cancer 10 years ago.
