235 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 42 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 235 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 42 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 29 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 14 in Province 2, 128 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 39 in Lumbini Province, 19 in Karnali Province.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam also said that four in Province 1, three in Province 2, 30 in Bagmati, and five in Lumbini Province are on the ventilator support.
