ANFA office closed for three days after a staff tests positive for COVID-19 



KATHMANDU: The central office of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has been closed for three days.

The ANFA headquarters in Satdobata will remain closed for three days after an office worker was confirmed infected with the coronavirus, ANFA said.

The office has been closed for three days starting today (Thursday), according to ANFA. It has, however, not released the name of the infected person.

Similarly, ANFA has asked the employees who had come in contact with the infected people to stay at home self-quarantine for seven days.

In addition, ANFA headquarters will be disinfected for the next 72 hours.

Earlier, ANFA President Karmachhiring Sherpa’s personal secretary Ananta Prasad Ghimire was confirmed infected with the coronavirus. It is the first case of corona infection in the ANFA Secretariat staff.

Earlier, a member of the preliminary team of the national men’s football team was diagnosed with coronavirus infection. He has been recovered after treatment.
