Fear as 91 infected go out of contact in capital



KATHMANDU:  At a time when the coronavirus is gaining a foothold in the Kathmandu valley, as many as 91 people infected with the coronavirus have gone out of contact.

The risk of the infection has become even higher after the infected went out of contact in the capital already hit hard by the pandemic.

According to Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 91 who were confirmed with the coronavirus during PCR tests have gone out of contact since they provided wrong phone numbers and addresses.

“They may be roaming around the community by keeping the positive reports in their pockets,” stated an official at the Kathmandu metropolis.

Out of 16,180 people who underwent PCR tests recently through contact tracing, the reports of 2,227 people came out positive in the valley.
