Septuagenarian man dies of COVID-19 in Chitwan



BHARATPUR: A 77-year-old man has died from coronavirus in Chitwan district on Tuesday morning.

According to Dr Dayaram Lamsal, the director of Chitwan Medical College, the septuagenarian succumbed to the virus in the course treatment at the hospital this morning.

Originally from Kawasoti municipality-5, he had been admitted to the hospital on October 2 and tested positive for the virus on October 4.

He was being treated at Interim Care Unit.

The elderly was also suffering from pneumonia and respiratory complications.
