Complaint lodged against State Minister Moti Lal Dugar

KATHMANDU: A case has been filed against Minister of State for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Moti Lal Dugar for allegedly running an industry with registration.

National Consumers Forum Nepal has lodged a complaint at the Office of the Prime Minister alleging that Dugad Spice And Foods P. Ltd., Tankisinwari, Morang owned by Sate Minister Moti Lal Dugar is running business without complying with food rules.

The Forum in the written complaint has stated that Dugad Spice P. Ltd. has black marketing of the Century Salt which is registered in the name of Motti Lal Dugar.

“The Century Salt is being sold for Rs 32 per 100 gram without taking approval from the government,” reads the complaint.
