Five arrested with 8.3 kg opium in Rolpa



ROLPA: Police have arrested five people with eight kilograms of opium during a security check.

Chief of the District Police Office, Rolpa, Deputy Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi said that three women and two men were arrested with 8.3 kg of opium on a vehicle, Ba 15 Cha 3776, heading towards Dang from Sulichaur.

The arrested are Jyoti Gharti, 37, and Nisha Pun, 30, of Rukum, Dil Prabha Budha, 45, of Dang, Motilal Pariyar, 33, of Surkhet and driver Yam Bahadur Gharti Magar of Rolpa.
