CHITWAN: A female rhino that was swept away by the Narayani River has been found dead.

Approximately 30-year-old rhino was found dead on the river banks at Tribeni post area under the Chitwan National Park (CNP), said the CNP’s Information Officer Ashok Ram, adding that its horn has remained unhurt.

A rhino was found dead in the river on Friday. Five rhinos at the CNP died due to various reasons in the fiscal year, 2020/21.
