Suspicious objects found along East-West Highway, disrupted



NAWALPARASI: Suspicious objects have been found at various places along the Mahendra Highway. It has been speculated that such objects have been placed targeting the East-West Highway to make the banda announced by Netra Bikram Chand Biplav.

A suspicious object was found in a red bag at Beldiya in Gaindakot Municipality at 5 am today. Vehicular movement was affected after the object was found in the area.

Police have cordoned the area and a bomb disposal team of Nepal Army has left for the site.

Similarly, a red bag was found in front of a health post in Dumki in Devchuli Municipality-2.

Market places have remained closed. An explosion went off in front of Chaudhary industry  yesterday evening while Purusottam Regmi was arrested while participating in a torch rally in Arunkhola.
