COVID-19: Number of active cases decreasing in Doti



DOTI: The number of active coronavirus infection cases is decreasing in Doti district of late.

As many as 952 out of total 1,085 infected have recovered and returned home in Doti as of Wednesday evening.

With this, only 133 active cases remain in the district, according to the statistics of the health office.

The infected who tested negative after 14-day treatment at isolation are being sent to home.

Acting Medical Superintendent of the District Hospital, Dr Prakash Thakulla said that there is a very nominal chance of community transmission of the virus with the people with active infection cases being isolated and treated.

Though active cases have increased the recovery rate is also very good, the office said.

According to the official data, 317 women and 635 men from all nine local levels of the district have recovered and returned home till Wednesday.
