213 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 34 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 213 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 34 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 16 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 18 in Province 2, 110 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 44 in Province 5, 17 in Karnali Province and two in Sudurpaschim Province.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam also said that five in Province 1, 26 in Bagmati, two in Province 5 and one in Sudurpaschim Province are on the ventilator support.
