Kathmandu Valley witnesses 817 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 817 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 649 persons in Kathmandu, 36 in Bhaktapur and 132 in Lalitpur have tested positive for the pandemic virus.

Similarly, a 51-year-old woman died from COVID-19 in Bhaktapur.

Meanwhile, the country on Monday recorded a total of 1,351 new cases of coronavirus infection while 742 infected ones got complete recovery from the virus, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
