Nepali squad announced for ACC U-16 Eastern Region



KATHMANDU: Nepali cricket team has been announced for the ACC U-16 Eastern Region 2019 on Wednesday.

Bishal Bikram KC will lead the 14-member squad for the tournament to be organized in Thailand on April 20-18.

Ashish Bhattarai, Prashant Mahat, Arjun Kumal, Deepak Bohara, Subash Air, Nikhil Kumar Singh, Bishal Kumar Patel, Krish Karki, Tilakraj Bhandari, Ramesh Kurmi, Rohan Dudhraj BK, Prashant Singh and Sushant Thapa have been included in the squad.

Likewise, Abhisekh Gautam, Parasuram Yadav, Arbaj Ansari and Bibek Darasi have been named as alternative players.

Eight teams will be competing in the tournaments. The participating teams have been grouped into two groups. Nepal, Malaysia, Myanmar and host Thailand are placed in Group ‘A’ and Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Bhutan in Group ‘B’.

Nepal will play its first match against Myanmar on April 20.
