Sexagenarian dies of COVID-19 in  Dharan



KATHMANDU: A 63-year-old man has died of coronavirus in Dharan of Sunsari district.

The sexagenarian who was admitted to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences on September 24 died in the course of treatment on Saturday morning, said Dr Nidesh Sapkota, the spokesperson for the Institute.

Originally from Rajbiraj municipality-3, Saptari, the patient had been referred to BP Koirala Institue of Health Sciences, Dharan from Birat Medical College after he complained of fever, dry cough, and respiratory complications.

He had tested positive for the virus after he was admitted to the hospital.
