India’s COVID-19 cases cross 5.9 million



KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 5.9 million in India until Saturday morning.

With 85,468 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,901,571.

Currently, 961,991 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,846,168 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 93,410.

With 1,093 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 93,410, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus pandemic has killed 992,861 and infected 32,743,077 people so far globally.
