Valley Municipality Forum concludes COVID-19 situation getting horrific

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley Municipality Forum has concluded that the coronavirus infection in the Kathmandu Valley has started causing a horrific situation.

The forum concludes that the situation is deteriorating due to increasing infections with all areas opened.

Secretary of the forum and Chief of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Madan Sundar Shrestha urged everyone to be vigilant as the situation is likely to be dire in the next few days.

Shrestha said that the situation is getting worse, adding that everyone should be vigilant.

He emphasized that the government should take necessary steps for vigilance rather than counting the number of cases.

He said, “The government should be more vigilant. The situation in the Valley around Dashain would be terrible.”
