Sudurpaschim sees 79 new cases of coronavirus



DHANGADHI: Sudurpaschim Province witnessed as many as 79 cases, including 35 fresh cases of coronavirus in Kailali.

According to Seti Provincial Hospital sources, out of 438 swabs tested in Seti Provincial Hospital Laboratory, 36 came out with the coronavirus positive result.

The Seti Hospital said 8 persons each tested coronavirus positive in Ward No 2 and 13 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City tested coronavirus positive on Wednesday.

Similarly, Ward No. 1, 3 and 5 of the same Sub-Metro saw 2 cases each whereas Ward No. 4, 11 and 18 saw one case each again.

Similarly, Godavari and Bhajani Municipality of Kailali saw 8 and 1 case respectively. Kanchanpur saw 1 coronavirus case.

Likewise the Dadeldhura Hospital Laboratory reported 8 coronavirus cases out of 143 swabs tested.

According to Ishwori Prasad Bhusal, the In-charge of Dadeldhura Hospital, all 8 new cases are from Turmakhad Rural Municipality, Achham.

Similarly, District Hospital Doti had carried out the tests of 172 swabs in last 24 hours, 35 came out with coronavirus positive result.

According to Saurav Shrestha, the Incharge of Doti Hospital,  out of 35 cases 13 are from Adarsha Rural Municipality, 4 from Dipayal Silgadhi, 16 from Ramatoshan Accham and 2 from Mellekh.
