Rainy weather to continue until Friday



KATHMANDU: Heavy rain is occurring in many places of the  country since Tuesday night.

Besisahar, Khudibazaar of Lamjung, and many places of Gorkha and  Dhading districts have witnessed heavy rains, according to a weather bulletin issued by the Flood Information Center.

The Center, therefore, has urged one and all especially those living along the baks of rivers to take precation saying that the torrential downpour might cause floods and landslides.

Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted heavy rains in all the seven provinces of the country.

According to a weather  bulletin issued  by the Division this morning , light to moderate rains are occurring in various places of the country, currently.

Heavy rains are likely in some places of Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Gandaki Pradesh, Pradesh 5, said the Division.

With the low pressure monsoon trough gradually surging towards north-west direction of Chhattisgarh of India, rains will continue until Friday, according to the Division.
