Nepali fashion designer Sanyukta Shrestha wins ‘Bridal Buyer Award’



KATHMANDU: Nepali fashion designer Sanyukta Shrestha has won the prestigious ‘Bridal Buyer Award’ of the United Kingdom.

Shrestha, who has been in fashion designing in London, won the ‘Editor’s Choice Award’ under the ‘Bridal Buyer Award 2020’.

Shrestha said that winning the award was a moment beyond her imagination that she welcomes with tears of joy.

“I never imagined that I would be awarded for my compassion and for standing behind something that I truly believe in; to give back to our community and spread kindness to a world that now needs it more than ever,” Shrestha said.

Bridal Buyer Award Ceremony has been acknowledged worldwide as the leading awards ceremony of the Bridal Industry in the United Kingdom.

It highlights the companies and individuals who are leading by example and excellence in their field and applauds their success.

The event attracts an audience of more than 600 guests from all sectors of the bridal industry, including retailers, suppliers, designers and the media. It is often referred to as the “Oscars of the bridal industry”.
