Study committee formed for relocation of settlements



SYANGJA: The Waling Municipality in Syangja has formed a committee to study about relocation of the settlements at Waling after it faced high risk of landslide.

Human settlements in as many as 14 wards in the Municipality were at high risk of landslide. The study committee will conduct research and furnish its recommendations, informed Mayor Dilip Pratap Khand.

The committee has been given 30 days to conduct field visit and research on the vulnerable villages and submit report to the Municipality, he added.
