179 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU, 35 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 179 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 35 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, seven persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, four in Province 2, 127 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 24 in Province 5 and 11 in Karnali Province.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam also said that one in Province 1, 33 in Bagmati and one in Province 5 are on the ventilator support.
