15 new COVID-19 cases in Gandaki Pradesh, tally hits 3,351



KATHMANDU: Fifteen additional coronavirus cases have been reported in Gandaki Pradesh on Saturday afternoon.

The cases were confirmed during tests at the laboratory of Regional Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara, informed the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh.

The newly infected are 11 from Nawalparasi, two from Parbat  and one each from Syangja and Lamjung. With this, the number of infection cases has reached 3,351 in Gandaki Pradesh.

Preparations are underway to take all the infected to the respective districts of the province, said Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the spokesperson for the COVID-19 Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Pradesh.
