24 more test coronavirus positive in Bara, Parsa and Rautahat

BIRGUNJ: In the swab test of 288 people conducted at the Parsa-based Narayani Hospital, as many as 24 people including 14 from Parsa have tested coronavirus positive.

According to Dr Atulesh Kumar Chaurasiya, the spokesperson of Naryani Hospital, 24 people including 18 males and 6 females have tested coronavirus positive.

He informed that the new cases include 14 from Parsa, 6 from Bara and 4 from Rautahat.

Offering further details, he said 3 persons from Birgunj Metropolitan City, 5 each from Kalikamai Rural Municipality and Parsagadhi Municipality and 1 from Sakhuwa Parsauni Rural Municipality were found positive for coronavirus in Parsa district.

Similarly, 3 people from Kolhabi Municipality, 2 from Mahagadhi Mai Municipality and 1 from Jitpur Simara Municipality of Bara also tested COVID-19 positive.

Gadhi Mai Municipality of Rautahat saw 2 cases whereas Madhav Narayan Municipality and Area Police Office Garuda also saw 1 case each in the test.
