Rainfall forecast for next three days

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted rainfall at most of the places across the country for next three days. Meteorologist Barun Poudel predicted light to moderate rainfall across the nation till Friday due to impact of monsoon low pressure system.

He said that the rainfall will take place during morning and night.

This, he said, is the pre-phenomena of the end of monsoon season. “Normally, monsoon season ends towards September 23,” Poudel said.

Likewise, skies across the country remained cloudy and some places of State-1, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim states witnessed light to moderate rain with lightning.

Heavy rainfall has been forecast at one or two places of Gandaki Province.
