Govt to bear treatment costs of acid survivors for lifetime



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to bear the treatment costs of acid survivors lifelong.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali, who is also the Spokesperson of the government, stated that the government has made arrangements for the free treatment and all the medicines to be taken by them for life.

He also said that it has been decided to provide free education to acid survivors.

Minister Gyawali further said that the government has also decided to provide training opportunities and provide employment to the acid survivors for capacity building and skill development.
